Richard Longstaff is the owner of Longstaffs and a highly skilled joiner whose career began in 2003. Trained in traditional joinery techniques and committed to modern best practices, he brings more than two decades of hands-on experience to every project. His practical expertise spans bespoke cabinetry, structural joinery, doors and windows, staircases and fine finishing work, allowing him to tackle both large-scale renovations and delicate detail work with equal confidence.

Richard leads the Longstaffs workshop with a focus on craftsmanship, meticulous attention to detail and clear, friendly communication. He works directly with clients from the planning stage to ensure designs are both beautiful and buildable, and he oversees each job from initial measurements through to final installation. Known for his reliable approach and practical on-site problem solving, Richard ensures projects are completed to a high standard, on time and within budget, while keeping clients informed and involved at every step.

Outside the workshop, Richard stays current with industry standards and ongoing training, and he actively mentors the Longstaffs team to maintain consistent quality across all work.
